GET READY TO CELEBRATE WITH GENEVA'S FIRST

CELEBRATING MISSION! WEEKEND ON MAY 16, 17, AND 18

On May 16, 17, and 18, you are cordially invited to attend Geneva's first Celebrating Mission! weekend on our church's campus. Why celebrate mission? So we can recognize and rejoice in the mission work we're already doing, discover other mission needs we can help fill, and to learn more about the opportunities we have to get Jesus in our hearts, the Bible in our hands, and our feet out the door to do God’s work.

Besides, it’s going to be fun!

On Friday evening, May 16 , come to a gala Celebrating Mission! banquet, featuring international food and a variety of mission short subjects on Geneva's prison ministry, Joining Hearts and Hands, the Kenya projects we help support, and some amazing work being done among the "untouchables" in India. Dinner is $4 for adults; children up to age 12 are free. You don't want to miss this!

On Saturday morning, May 17, enjoy coffee and goodies, then a series of workshops/information sharing sessions on our Mexico ministry, other international mission opportunities, and the Hoag Hospital Community Ministry. You'll also be invited to visit either South County Outreach or Village of Hope.

On Sunday morning, May 18 , worship in a special mission service at 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m., or 11 a.m. with an outside mission speaker, attend a mission education program at 9:30 a.m. or 11 a.m., browse through an international bazaar, and savor more international goodies in the courtyard.

Throughout the weekend, take advantage of the opportunity to offer your time, talent, and treasure directly to mission support.

You’re welcome to attend only the events that interest you the most or to enjoy the whole weekend...but plan now to be a part of the celebration! You can sign up on any Sunday through May 11 at the mission table in the courtyard or on the bulletin boards outside the sanctuary and Simpson Hall.
