Music
"Worship
the Lord with gladness; come into his presence with singing."
......................................................................................Psalm
100.2
When new members are asked what initially attracted them to Geneva, they often comment on our welcoming atmosphere or variety of worship services, but the most common response is, "we love the music!"
At Geneva, we believe music has the power to ignite the flame of the Holy Spirit within each of us. Therefore, not only are we committed to providing music that inspires and enhances our worship services, but it's also not uncommon to hear voices raised in praise during the Sunday educational hour, the Big Wednesday program, or any other time Genevans get together. We are also proud of our commitment to developing "home grown" talent by encouraging members with musical gifts.

Chancel
Choir
Our adult chancel choir, conducted by Director of Music, Eileen O’Hern, is committed to enhancing the traditional worship experience. Through a community of voices, they are able to create a spirit of worship, which inspires and brings additional meaning to the spoken word. The chancel choir practices each Thursday evening and sings regularly at the 11:00 am traditional service. We welcome anyone (there are no auditions). If you are interested in adding your own voice to this amazing group, contact Eileen at
augvox@yahoo.com.
Children's Choirs
Choir is an excellent way for kids to share their faith and love of Jesus through music. Participants also gain self-confidence, learn teamwork, develop friendships and increase their musical and vocal skills - all in an encouraging and caring environment. Choirs focus on both traditional and contemporary music and perform throughout the year in worship services, special events and in the surrounding community. To learn how your children can participate in the following programs, please contact the church office:
