SERVE WITH US
“When Jesus saw the crowds, he had compassion on them...Then he said to his disciples, 'The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore ask the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”
CORADO HOPE FOR THE FUTURE
Founded in 1999, this organization provides support, shelter, education and life-skills training for orphans, impoverished children and emancipated youth in Romania. In striving to create a safe place for youth to grow, Corado Hope for the Future also focuses on the spiritual and emotional growth of the youth they serve. Foster care and adoption assistance for these children to both national and international families is also a focus.
IGLESIA NACIONAL PRESBITERIANA "DIOS CON NOSOTROS"
Geneva has partnered with our sister church in Tijuana, Mexico for over two decades. In that time, the Rev. Devir Perez, his family, along with the entire congregation, have become family to us. Together we have worked to bring aid and the message of the hope of Christ to the poorest people within the city and on the outskirts of Tijuana. Most recently Geneva has provided scholarships to youth in the church to help them complete high school and to enter a local technical college, and perhaps beyond. This is a partnership that is here to last.
This organization creates caring communities of hope that teach the Word of God, promote literacy, alleviate poverty and bring hope in India. Their primary objective is to uplift the poor and the poor at heart through education, micro-enterprise access to healthcare and other enrichment opportunities. Their goal is to strengthen indigenous leaders who have a proven track record of effective work and a relationship with local people.
LOS RANCHOS PRESBYTERY MISSION PLEDGE
The Presbyterian Church (USA) Mission Agency (PMA) believes in doing mission in partnership which broadens our awareness of how interconnectional God's mission is at the local, national and global levels. Geneva supports the PMA with an annual financial pledge. This pledge helps fund programs, nationally and internationally, which advocate for social justice, racial equity, support education programs and scholarships, coordinate natural disaster response and help build new worshipping communities.
Free education in Belize stops at age 12, holding children hostage to poverty and vulnerable to lawless gangs and brutal sex-traffickers. This is why Geneva sponsors two students through Pathlight International. Our sponsorship provides "wrap around" support, meaning that we provide the financial help they need to attend school as well as covering their everyday needs such as food and clothing.
PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF EAST AFRICA
Education is often the only route out of poverty for orphans, the poor, women and others in this country. The Presbyterian Church of East Africa receives over 2,000 applications annually for elementary, high school and university scholarships from students of all ages to begin and continue their educations. Geneva is proud to finance 30 of these scholarships for the upcoming school year, giving these eager students hope for a better life.
