Parent's Night Out

Parents with children ages infant through 5th grade are invited to leave your children in the loving arms of Geneva volunteers as you enjoy some well deserved time off.  There is no fee, but we encourage donations which will go to South County Outreach.  Register below by Thursday, March 12.

Pastor's Lenten Study - "Practical Theology 101: Seeing Jesus"

Sundays: March 15 & 22 (Simpson Hall)

Join Pastor Steve for this in-depth look at Matthew 25, loving the “least of these.” Practical examples of social justice activities which address the hungry, thirsty, poor, sick, imprisoned and “stranger” will be explored. Register below, in the church office or at the Welcome booth between Sunday services.   A simple soup and sandwich lunch will be served.  Donations appreciated.

"Rowdies" Ministry

8am-Noon

Join the “handy-folk” of Geneva for fellowship and facility repairs.  The morning begins in the Annex at 8am with donuts and a short devotional, then people are dispersed to tackle the mornings tasks.  All ages, men and women, are welcome!

Al-Anon - The first Monday of the Month

12-1pm in McLennan Lounge

Friends and family of problem drinkers find much needed understanding and support at these meetings.  All are welcome. For more information about Al Anon family groups, click below.

Beginning Line Dancing

No experience required!  Dancing helps with coordination, balance and creates a new nerve pathway with every step you learn. Besides all the health benefits, it's great fun!  A $3 per class donation is recommended.  This class does not meet in July and August.

Healing Buddies Worshop

1:30pm in the Annex

All are welcome to help create dolls to comfort traumatized children.

Love Project - Laguna

4pm in the Youth Room

Genevans, friends and guests gather to make sandwiches for the Laguna Beach homeless then head down to the beach to hand deliver them.  You can also support The Love Project - Laguna by bringing these items to the church office during the week or to the Youth Room at 4pm on Sundays:  12 oz individual bottled water, jelly, mayonnaise, lunch meat, bread, individually packaged snacks and/or snack bars and encouraging notes.
