IN-PERSON WORSHIP RESUMES

We are pleased to announce the return of in-person worship. Geneva will reopen in compliance with the safety guidelines outlined by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) in the California Blueprint for a Safer Economy. What will this new in-person worship look like? Implementing 6' social distancing, face coverings, required registration and other protocols. VIRTUAL MEET & GREET

If you are brand new to Geneva or are considering a visit, Virtual Meet & Greets are a great way to learn more about our church from a few friendly folks in our community, as well as meet others who are new just like yourself. Only 20-30 minutes, it's just enough time to get acquainted, ask questions and discover how we can help you connect with the church according to your needs and interests.

HELP US FEED OUR HOMELESS NEIGHBORS

Saturday, June 5, 11am

Help us provide 30 sack lunches the first Saturday of every month to the Laguna Beach Alternative Sleeping Location (ASL) on Laguna Canyon Road. To lend a hand making sandwiches, cutting up apples, providing baked goods and inspirational notes for the sack lunches, sign up below. Geneva provides the supplies for the bigger items, and you can participate from the comfort and safety of your own home.

NEW MEMBER CLASS

Saturday, June 19, 10-11:30am

This class is for those who are ready for membership or want to discover what it means to become a Geneva member. We'll answer questions such as: What does it mean to be a Presbyterian? Why join the church? What are the benefits of belonging? How do I find my fit?


The class will meet in person at the church in McLennan Lounge in the education building from 10-11:30am or shortly thereafter. Register at genevapres.org/events or call the church during office hours at 949-837-2323.

VACATION BIBLE SCOOL

June 28 - July 2

9am - 12:30pm

For kids grades K-5th grade

Join us as we Press Play for amazing worship, fun activities and games. Your kids will learn incredible truths form the Bible that gives them the confidence to Press Play and Get in The Mix! We are planning an in-person program adhering to COVID-19 protocols. If conditions change, we will transition to a virtual VBS.

Some volunteer opportunities begin prior to June 28

Make a difference in the life of a child and make a few friends along the way. Volunteer! There are many different positions available. Note that as a volunteer you will be required to attend VBS Leader and Youth Protection Training Sunday, June 13 from 1-2pm. 

YOUTH SUMMER CAMP

June 18-21

For youth 6th-12th grade

Get stoked for a Totally Rad Summer on Catalina Island. With amazing live worship, an inspirational message, island activities including swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, paddle-boarding, and fishing, and a special day in the city of Avalon, this camp is going to be epic!
